The Engineering Challenge
Dust and variable temperatures inside the logistics warehouse caused frequent false alarms on standard smoke detectors. Open spacing also made wiring routing extensive.
The SECUVIA Solution
We replaced point detectors in the main storage zones with optical beam smoke detectors configured with dust-compensation features. Loops were run using heavy-duty mineral-insulated copper cables (MICC) to withstand mechanical stress.
